Below are two shorts and five title sequences created by Paul Julian (1914-1995). Prior to his stint at UPA, Julian worked at Warner Bros. as a key background artist on many Looney Tunes cartoons (circa 1940-1952).
But, these shorts and his titles are my favorite works for film he created. The Tell-Tale Heart is probably the most well-known of the group. Hangman less so, but equally powerful.
The title sequences vary in image quality but were compiled from the best online and DVD sources I could gather. This post is a way to have the films available in one spot for inspiration.
